Even though I made a reservation, he said his system wouldn't take my debit card and threw it back at me. Customer service is not a term these guys have ever heard. I asked why, i have funds in the account, he said it's not your bank, it's my system. I asked ok, who I should call for help and he just grunted, uh budgets 1-800 number?
My mother inlaw prepaid for a car to rent and and because she didn't have a credit card but had a debit card they wouldn't let her get a car she prepaid $202.00 and now she has to fill out paperwork for her to get her money back customer service was awful. Went to Enterprise to get a car walked in and out 20 mins no problems!!!!! Go to Enterprise for a car.
The two guys running the place came out of the back looking dirty, unshowered and stoned.
If I could give a lower score, I would.
The place was dark, half the lights off at 3 in the afternoon and reeked of weed.
Guess Budget didn't want the business. So now I'm going to shower and try to get the stale cigarette and pot smell off me from being in there.
We were very pleased with our experience at Budget in Livonia. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The car was beautiful and well cared for. We really enjoyed it. Also, the price was far better than any other we were quoted. We will definitely use Budget, and specifically this location, in the future.
I walked out, called Enterprise and had a car within minutes for HALF the price.
Amazing staff & vehicles. I go here for all of my vehicle rental needs. They're very reasonable.

Booked online, went to pickup same day after work. Was told I could not rent when I got there b/c I had bad credit? NEVER had a problem anywhere else. Was told my money would be refunded, yet here I wait, 10 DAYS LATER! Customer service gives you the runaround, got nowhere with them after going through many hoops. Had to take my complaint a lot higher. Just to get a refund on a car I never touched! This place is a joke. Enterprise every time from now on.
