I needed a flange replaced. I only called Roto rooter [mistake]. So is the reason there prices are so high is because of there name? A flange is what around $50 or less. And It costs 12x that to install? Yes, I agreed to pay that outrageous amount as I'm sure maybe a few others have just to get it done. I'd hate to see the emergency price. Hopefully others will read this and not make a stupid call as I did. A trusted company I have service my appliances [Dunlap] calls afterward to see if I'm happy with the job. I doubt roto will call. I have been passing this on to others warning them not to get ripped off as I did. I did get a senior discount of 10% up to $30. Yes, I know I agreed to that amount but how can one company think there worth sooo much more than another. I will be passing this info out every day til I feel as though I've told enough people.
Our service tech Eric was awesome. Located the problem and fixed it quickly. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend their services.
Columbus was my service man who came to help with my drain issue, and he was fantastic. Top notch service, he helped me to understand how the plumbing was set up in my house, and understand how the drain issue could happen and what to do to maintain and keep the line healthy. He was also a delight to talk to, and he cleaned up and helped rehang the covering for the water main. Honestly, I would not hesitate to call roto - rooter for any plumbing related issues in the future. It was truly the best experience I have had with any kind of plumbing issues with my house since I have been in it - and that's 16 years! THANK YOU, COLUMBUS and Roto-Rooter!
Extremely expensive and not even the best work... had a really bad sewer back up and after thousands of dollars the back up reoccurred a week later.. I only went with them because of the name brand and figured they do top notch work but its not the best work and they charge literally double even triple what a local company would charge for the same service.
