The death of my mother was so devistating for my family and I.
After the death of my grandmother this year my family was informed that my Grandfather who passed in 2012 had yet to be put in his Niche. FOUR YEARS have gone by that my family was not told Fred Wood still had possession of my grandfathers remains. For four years we have gone to make sure his niche is maintained and bring flowers and talk with him, unbeknownst to us he was not there. My grandmother has been to the funeral home many times on her own behalf to preplan and nothing was ever mentioned. This is INEXCUSABLE and shows a complete disregard for the dead and their families. I beg of you to patronize a funeral home other than Fred Wood, I want your loved ones to be treated with respect.
Def more expensive than others but still a nice place. I am rewriting this review because the director Sarah fixed our issue and had such a kind and professional manner with us. Thanks Sarah!
Death is not easy no matter who has passed. Fred Wood staff makes the process easier to handle.
We had a wonderful experience. My mom had been ill for so long and all of the staff made us feel like family. They were warm, efficient and professional. They were able to rent out a funeral home closer to our home, while still using Fred Wood. We could not have asked for better service out of each funeral home.
