I bring my senior citizens here as an outing for my job. The sound is perfect. The handicap accessibility is perfect and the staff is very kind.
I haven't been here in a couple years but I will say the reason why I visit AMC Theaters is because their popcorn was popped fresh. As much as popcorn costs, I want fresh popcorn, not pre-popped and bagged. Just so happens that I now live closer to another chain that does the same, has free refills, and is cheaper.
This used to be a great place. I came here quite often growing up. Sadly, the theater and seating looks like the same stuff from years ago. I sat next to a seat that had stains...lots of white stains...like you stabbed the Pillsbury Doughboy and just let him bleed out his white blood all over the seat.
The screen and sound were fine, let's get the good stuff out of the way first.
All-in-all, not the best day at the movies.
The only reason I went here was it happened to be the closest theater showing a limited release movie I wanted to see. Looks like next time I'll just have to suck it up and drive a bit extra to a nicer theater.
Always a great experience at this theater. Parking is easy and plentiful. Prices are in line with most other theaters. (I do think some of the snack prices are a little higher, but no worse than many other theaters). The seats are very comfortable and all of the associates are friendly. Close to other shopping and restaurants, so you can make a night of it.
Place still hasn't upgraded to reclining seats. Popcorn leaves something to be desired. All broken tiny crumbs and don't offer flavor shakers. Bathroom was clean. Employees very pleasant.
If you're into dirty lobbies, empty napkin, butter, and bathroom paper towel dispensers, and the worst popcorn of your life, give this place a go. To top it off, it was a Wednesday evening and they weren't busy whatsoever so there's no reason it should've been in the state of disarray that it was.
